This Westerly Longbow for sale in Corfu has been in the same ownership for many years. A capable and strongly built boat, she's been lightly cruised in the Ionian but not launched and stored ashore in recent years. She benefits from a replacement engine that`s more powerful than standard, and the mast and standing rigging are also replaced. A solid little cruiser!
This Westerly Longbow has a very long spacious cockpit making sleeping outside on hot nights a breeze! Her responsive tiller steering allows more space than a wheel and binnacle would. She has a furling Genoa and conventional mainsail with lazyjacks and combined with her semi long fin keel offers a safe and secure sailing performance.
Below decks she has two quarter berths stretching under the cockpit and two straight settees in the saloon either side of the table. The port side has a cleverly designed slide out chart table located right where you need it next to the companionway. The shorter starboard side settee has the galley located at the forward end. Forward of this the heads compartment is located to port and the forepeak area house`s a double berth. The replacement Volvo engine is under the companionway steps. There is plenty of practical storage space giving her potential as a livaboard and she has very many well thought additional touches such as mozzie nets, bimini extensions etc that make life onboard more comfortable.
This westerly Longbow is a sturdy well built little cruiser ready for new owners to continue to cruise in safety on a budget. She could now do with her non slip decks repainting but she`s a well presented boat overall and well worth viewing!
