This Jaguar 27 has had extensive modifications to its interior to make an ideal budget yacht for couples or single handing. She benefits from many upgrades of equipment to include replacement mast and standing rigging, electric anchor winch etc and has been professionally re-painted with Awl-Grip paint. She`s had a recent full engine rebuild and is remarkable value at this price!
A stern bathing platform and bow platform make for easy boarding when moored either bows or stern to. The spacious cockpit is large enough to sleep outside if desired and has custom made quality cushions. Awl-Grip paint combined with the off-white non-slip areas makes for an attractive looking yacht. This Jaguar 27 has many modifications and updates. Both genoa and (nearly new) mainsail are furling for easy short-handed operation. Other upgrades include electric anchor winch, replacement hatches, upgraded winches with replacement tracks and cars and modified transom access.
Below decks the extensive modifications of this Jaguar 27 over the standard model is immediately apparent. On descending the companionway steps a small chart table and navigation area is to starboard. Aft of this is a roomy quarter-berth stretching under the cockpit for the occasional guest, or equally is ideal for storage. The galley runs along the port side of the saloon and opposite to starboard is a good sized heads and shower compartment. The forepeak area has been greatly extended providing a very large double berth.
Not to be confused with the standard Jaguar 27, this nicely presented example offers an ideal solution for a budget cruiser with a layout specifically designed for comfort for shorthanded crews. Amazing price to get cruising on a low budget!
