This Hallberg Rassy 312 from the renowned Swedish yard is a nicely presented example and has been very lightly used as can be seen from the condition of the original upholstery and lovely joinery work below decks. She benefits from an overhauled engine and electrical re-wiring. Viewing is recommended to appreciate fully this high quality classic that is more than capable of long distance cruising.
The Hallberg Rassy 312 has attractive lines that hint toward her serious sea keeping abilities. She has a purposeful look with her fixed screen giving protection to the spacious but secure feeling cockpit. She has a conventional mainsail with lazyjacks and stack pack system to aid her sailing performance.
Descending the companionway steps you enter the saloon with a full sized chart table and navigation area to starboard and a practical, secure galley opposite to port. A quarterberth stretches aft behind the chart table. Surrounding the saloon table there is a straight settee to port and an “L” shaped settee to starboard and both make practical sea berths on passage. A walk-thru at the forward end of the saloon has a good sized heads shower compartment to starboard and large stowage lockers opposite to port. The forepeak area houses the main double sleeping cabin.
There is a huge amount of practical stowage throughout the boat as you would expect on a cruiser of this calibre and the joinery in particular sets a standard of quality rarely seen on boats produced today. The refurbished engine has excellent access for maintenance from the companionway steps and from a hinged door in the cockpit sole.
This Hallberg Rassy 312 is a lovely example and has been well looked after over the years. Yachts of this quality are rare to find and she is ready for new owners to cruise in comfort and safety.
