This Bavaria 40 benefits from many upgrades in recent years including seacocks, batteries, sails, main hatches and not least her Flexiteak decks. Both sail are furling for easy shorthanded sailing with lines led aft to the security of the cockpit.
Below decks opening portlights give good ventilation throughout. The spacious saloon offers ‘U’ shaped seating around the saloon table to starboard with a longitudinal galley opposite to port. The aft end of the saloon has a full size chart table and navigation area to starboard with a very good sized heads / shower compartment opposite to port. There are two double aft cabins with good stowage that are accessed either side of the companionway steps. The well maintained and recently serviced Volvo engine is located under the steps and has good all-round access for maintenance. The forepeak area has the master double cabin with an en-suite heads / shower compartment. There is excellent stowage throughout the yacht.
