TRINTELLA III

A centre cockpit ketch rigged motor sailor, this Van de Stadt designed Trintella III is a quality built yacht and her lovely lines earn many admiring looks. She is meticulously maintained by her owner of many years and she has a beautiful interior and 'little ship' feel not found on modern designs.  Viewing is highly recommended of this delightful and genuine classic.

The raised aft deck is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The deep cockpit is well protected by the dog house and has a good combination of new and period instrumentation. Wide side-decks give good access forward and the large bowsprit finishes off the classic look. She is a very safe and seaworthy design with her long keel and heavy displacement.

The well maintained and reliable Perkins engine is located beneath the cockpit sole. The main saloon is accessed from the front of the cockpit and has ‘U’ shaped seating around the saloon table to port with a beautiful brass lamp above. Opposite to starboard is the chart table and nav area and forward of this a longitudinal galley. Forward of the saloon is a good sized heads/shower compartment with stowage opposite and forward of this is a double cabin in the forepeak area. Right forward is access to the anchor chain locker. The good sized master cabin is accessed from the aft end of the cockpit and has a roomy double berth and stowage.

The lovely classic yacht has very many special features such as brass lamps and cookware and a beautiful brass whiskey/brandy decanter. She is lovingly maintained with great attention to detail from her current owners, although the teak decks do require attention which is reflected in her low price.
