A popular mid sized family cruiser, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 combines good accommodation with a fast sailing performance. This is a well equipped and maintained example and she is attractively priced but please note she is for sale from mid August.
A walk-thru transom gate allows for easy access to the cockpit when boarding this yacht. A conventional slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks and relatively deep keel give a lively sailing performance.
Below decks there are two double aft cabins with good hanging locker stowage, with the reliable Yanmar 3GM located between them under the companionway steps. The fully equipped galley is located to starboard and has both electric and engine compressor driven refrigeration. The heads and shower compartment is opposite to port. Forward of this is the chart table and navigation area with a straight settee in front of this. Opposite to starboard is ‘U’ shaped seating around the salon table, convertible to a double berth. The forepeak area houses a further double cabin, again with good stowage.
