A very nice looking steel yacht, with the secure cockpit well protected by the large permanent dog-house. Quality construction with the hull sandblasted inside and out, then properly primed and painted for optimum corrosion protection, using the Apcomar paint system and this appears to have successfully kept rust at bay. The inside of the hull above the waterline was insulated with spray foam.
She is a cutter rigged sloop with a very well supported mast. From the cockpit there is access both to the aft cabin and the saloon. On descending the steps to the saloon the secure galley is situated to port with the chart table and nav area to starboard. Aft of the chart table is a walk-thru to the owners aft cabin. The walk-thru has cupboards to starboard with good access to the engine opposite. The aft cabin itself has a large double berth with further stowage, complete with much of the navigation equipment situated here for convenience whilst on passage, plus quick direct access to the cockpit is afforded by the second companionway. Another door in the aft cabin takes you into the engine room (for complete access to the engine) and also gives space for a workbench and tool stowage etc.
The main saloon has a dinette seating area around the saloon table to port with a straight settee to starboard, both of which would make good sea berths. There is excellent and practical stowage throughout, as you would expect on a yacht of this calibre.
Forward of the saloon is a walk-thru to the double forepeak cabin, with the heads and shower compartment to port and further stowage to starboard.
High quality joinery throughout gives the yacht a nice feel and she would be a good choice for anybody contemplating a serious cruise anywhere worldwide. She has already cruised to Europe from New Zealand via Vanuatu, Fiji, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, East Africa and the Red Sea.
