The fully enclosed cockpit cover adds versatility to this lovely yacht. The Bill Dixon designed Moody 336 has a good sized aft cockpit with wheel steering. Modern lines and good non-slip mouldings on deck are features of the exterior.
On descending the companionway steps you immediately notice the quality joinery and upholstery, along with good use of space. The galley is set to port with a generously sized heads compartment with separate shower stall to starboard. Forward of the heads compartment is an aft facing chart table. The saloon features ‘U’ shaped seating around the table to port with a straight settee to starboard. There is good stowage throughout the yacht. A double cabin is in the forepeak area.
The owners cabin is aft and of proportions not normally seen on a yacht of this size, and this design resulted in making the Moody 336 a popular choice. You enter the cabin aft of the galley where there is a dressing area, wardrobe and an ‘L’ shaped settee. The rest of the cabin is taken up with a huge double bed and, unusually for an aft cockpit design, this cabin stretches across the full width of the yacht.
Access to the immaculate engine is via the aft cabin and under the companionway steps.
