They benefit from many recent equipment upgrades such as their masts with furling mainsails, standing rigging, electric anchor winches, replacement engines etc. Very realistically priced for a quick sale.
Popular features of these easily handled yachts include the integral bow roller/platform combined with stern bathing platforms, split backstays and a transom cut-out, all making for easy access stepping ashore when anchored bows or stern to. A roomy cockpit offers tiller steering and there is a very large sliding companionway hatch that opens up the coachroof and gives lots of light and ventilation below decks.
The Jaguar 27s have a traditional layout with the main sleeping cabin having a double ‘V’ berth in the forepeak area. Aft of this is a heads compartment across the full width of the boat. Aft of this is a dinette area with bench seats either side of the saloon table to starboard that easily convert to an additional double berth if required. Opposite to port is a longitudinal galley and aft of this is a quarter-berth stretching under the cockpit.
