The Ferretti 39 flybridge has nice features and clever design that could only come from an Italian yard, making her a sought after thoroughbred.  Stepping aboard this motor yacht from the hydraulic passarelle, you cross the transom platform (also doubles as stowage for the tender) in to the spacious cockpit. From here steps lead up to the flybridge and there is access to the side-decks if going forward. The foredeck houses the electric anchor winch, a good sized chain locker and a large cushioned sun bathing area. The flybridge has a helmstation to starboard, ‘L’ shaped seating to port with another sunbathing area aft and an arch for navigation equipment. 

A clever design feature of this motor yacht is the ability to open up the aft end of the saloon to give an “open plan al fresco” feel to the saloon and cockpit area. The saloon has ‘L’ shaped seating to starboard with the inside helm position forward of this, and a straight settee to port with a drinks/cocktail bar forward, complete with sink. Quality fabrics and materials are used throughout and are in excellent condition for her age, giving an air of sumptuous luxury. Descending some steps at the forward end of the saloon you enter the practical galley area to port. Opposite to starboard is a twin cabin with en-suite heads/shower/bidet compartment that also can be accessed from the walk-thru. The owners’ double cabin is forward with a centreline double berth, good stowage and a further heads/shower/bidet compartment. 

The machinery room is accessed from beneath the saloon floor or from a hatch in the cockpit. The well maintained main engines and recently installed generator are given good access. The main engines (Caterpillar 3208 TA) are known for their economy and excellent performance, but above all their well proven reliability.
